This is a personal favourite for myself, as possibly my favourite temple in Japan. Located in Kyoto, with its winding paths and trails throughout the mountainside, the tunnels made from countless tori gates one after another is one of the greatest sights in the world. Japan is filled with some amazing, unique museums that rival some of the best in the world. About an hour out of Hiroshima in the Kansai region, is a little island, which is accessible by ferry, and has one of the most iconic symbols of Japan in its water front, the Tori Gate. Shibuya Crosswalk is one of the most famous locations in Tokyo, with it holding the title of busiest crosswalk in the world. With sometimes thousands of people crossing at once, this chaotic organisation just works, and is a place of kinetic energy, with music, lights and people.
